Assigning Activities to the Renewal Review Capability

The Renewal Review capability starts its process when it is assigned an eDoc activity (that is associated to a policy) requiring review. There are several different configuration options available within Epic to send an activity code to a specific user, with segmentation possible across branches, profit centre, and agency & department.

Having a dedicated activity code for renewal eDocs, such as EREN, allows for clearer segmentation and handling of these documents. Once the renewal eDoc activity is assigned to the Renewal Review capability, the review process can begin after the daily download without any manual intervention.

With eDoc Management

If you have Quandri's eDoc Management capability, it can be set up to automatically assign all renewal activities (by activity code) to the Renewal Review capability after relabelling the documents.

To set this up,

  1. Navigate to the Activities tab within eDoc Management
  2. Click on Add Activities
  3. Enter the renewal eDoc activity code that should be assigned to the Renewal Review capability and your Renewal Review's user code in Epic

Without eDoc Management

If you do not have an eDoc Management capability, you will need to configure your Epic settings to assign all renewal eDoc activities to Renewal Review's Epic user code so that they are received automatically once the download is complete.

To set this up:

  1. Navigate to the Configure section of Epic
  2. Navigate to Activity
  3. Click on Codes
  4. Click on Basic Settings
  5. For each activity code that you would like the Renewal Review capability to process, change the Owner Type to Specific Person and change the Specific Owner to Renewal Review's Epic user code. Please ensure you have set up the bot’s user code as an Employee in Epic.
