October 2024 Product Updates 🍂

Table of Contents

As summer fades and the season shifts to back-to-school routines, cozy sweaters, and pumpkin-spiced everything, our team has been hard at work behind the scenes. From tackling large, exciting projects—like our highly anticipated Policy Requoting capability (trust us, the buzz is real!)—to fine-tuning existing tools, it’s been a busy month.

While we’re building new capabilities, we remain committed to enhancing the tools you already rely on. This month, we focused on optimizing our Renewal Review capability to boost performance and accuracy.

Read on to see what we’ve rolled out this September.

RENEWAL REVIEWS

Policies with varying termsMore policies found, fewer exceptions made

Our latest update enables the processing of policies with terms under one year and policies with varying terms from year to year.

This new feature reduces the number of exceptions caused by documents not being found due to non-standard policy terms. For example, if a policy has an expiring term of 11 months with a 1-year renewal term, it will now be automatically identified and reviewed without issue.

With this update, your team will have fewer policy exceptions and know that policies of all term lengths are reliably handled.

  • Resolved mismatched reporting between collision coverage deductibles and all perils coverage deductibles
  • Fixed an issue where renewal premiums were miscalculated if the previous year’s policy was marked as new business. The system now accurately reads and processes renewal premiums in these cases.
