            Renewal Reviews

            • What does the Renewal Review Capability do?

Quandri’s Renewal Review Capability automates the renewal review process. By accessing the management system, the Renewal Reviews will identify renewing policies, analyze the policies and client accounts, and provide a report with insights and recommendations on every policy being renewed within the brokerage.

            • Does the Renewal Reviews analysis use PDFs or BMS data?

The Renewal Reviews will utilize both PDF data and BMS data in order to do a complete analysis on the renewal. 80% of the information will come from the policy document, with the other 20% coming from the BMS profile.

As an example, to identify if a multi-line discount should be present, the reviewer will first look at the policy document to see if it’s present. If it’s not present, it will look at the policy table within the BMS system to see if there are multiple lines with the same carrier and whether the client qualifies for it.

Review the Collecting Data article to see which data comes from the BMS system and which comes from PDF declaration pages.

            • How many activities can the Renewal Review Capability process each day?

The Renewal Reviews currently average 10 to 12 minutes to complete a policy, which equates to between 100 - 140 activities processed per 24 hour period.

            Policy Requoting

            • How is the requoting process triggered?

Policy Requoting will be triggered by a renewal premium increase. The premium increase threshold is configurable by clients. Once the Renewal Reviews process is complete, it will reassign activities for which the renewing policy met the configured premium increase threshold to the Policy Requoting capability. This will automatically initiate the requoting process.

            • How is the requoting process triggered?

The primary source of underwriting data will be Epic; however, the capability will also leverage data that exists in ARS if applicable.

            • How will Policy Requoting manage data that may be missing in Epic?

For data points that may be missing, the capability will leverage an existing quote in ARS if available. If an existing quote is not available, it will leverage defaults/placeholder values.

Quandri will flag if any relevant data points were missing or if defaults/placeholder values were used on the quote summary report.

            eDoc Management

            • What does eDoc Management do?

              Every day the robot will:

              • Log in to your BMS system
              • Identify all new downloaded activities and documents
              • Read the key information that policy contains such as the effective date, policy number, document type, policy type, etc…
              • Rename the document with this key information according to your unique naming convention
              • Complete any final actions with the document that you want such as adding it to a folder, assign it to a person or work group, or closing it.
            • Can the eDoc Management capability identify insured copies of documents?

Yes, when required, the eDoc Management capability can understand whether it is a broker copy, insured copy, or mortgagee copy. This information needs to appear on the dec page. For some carriers, this is the case and the robot will recognize this and include it in the name. For other carriers, like Wawanesa, they will only send one copy so it doesn’t have a copy type stated.

            • How is the eDoc Management capability different from Epic’s naming functionality?

Epic’s naming functionality depends on CSIO codes and data sent from carriers, which is not always accurate, complete or specific. Quandri’s eDoc Management capability is reading and understanding the contents of PDF documents, determining the document type, choosing the relevant naming convention, and naming the document; as well as re-assigning the document accordingly. The naming capabilities are much more granular and you can access significantly more relevant data to name your documents.
