            • Edit existing rules to match your specific needs
            • Add new custom rules for your specific Quandri instance

            Important Limitations

            • Delete functionality is intentionally not available - This safeguard prevents accidental data loss and ensures recoverability
            • Admin access only - Rules section is visible exclusively to users with the Admin role
            • Apply on next run - Rule changes only take effect on the next policy check or renewal review run, not retroactively or to runs in progress.

Common Workflow: Adding a New Exclusion Rule

Example: SGI Personal Property Claims Protector (PPCP)

Scenario: SGI is showing Personal Property Claims Protector as missing on reports, but SGI doesn't actually offer this coverage.

            Step-by-Step Process

            Step 1: Verify the Issue

            1. Search for "SGI" in the search bar OR use the Carrier filter to select SGI
            2. Review existing SGI rules
            3. Check if there's already a Personal Property Claims Protector exclusion rule
            4. Also check rules set to "All" carriers to see if a global rule exists

Step 2: Create the New Rule

            1. Click "New" in the top right corner
            2. Select Category: Choose "Habitational" (HAB) for home-related coverages
            3. Select Carrier: Choose "SGI" from the dropdown
            4. Set field to “Policy Type”:
              1. Choose “equals to”
              2. Select "Home" (or remove condition if applies to all HAB policy types)
            5. Select “Exclude the attribute”
            6. Search and select “Personal Property Claims Protector”
            7. Review your rule configuration
            8. Click “Add”

Step 3: Verify The Rule Was Added

            1. Search for "Personal Property Claims Protector" in the rules list
            2. Confirm your new rule appears with the correct configuration

Example result: If policy type is Home, then exclude Personal Property Claims Protector for SGI.

            What Happens Next?

Once added, the new rule will:

            • Apply to the next policy check or renewal review run
            • Prevent Personal Property Claims Protector from appearing as "missing" on SGI reports
            • Display as a Custom status rule in your rules list

            Tips for Success

            Before Adding a Rule

✓ Always search for existing rules first (check both carrier-specific and "All" carriers)
✓ Verify the coverage truly doesn't exist for that carrier
✓ Confirm which policy types the exclusion should apply to

            Managing Rules

✓ Use the Active toggle to temporarily disable rules without deleting them
✓ Review Custom rules periodically to ensure they're still needed
✓ Document why custom rules were added for future reference

            Remember

Changes only apply to new runs - they don't affect currently processing runs.
