            Epic Configuration

            SDK Access

            Setup of Epic custom SDK is required for Quandri. This requires consultation with your Applied Epic representative to set up with your IT team.

            Quandri requires: 

            1. Service URL (aka API endpoint)
            2. Authorization key
            3. Database Name

            You can set up the Epic SDK integration directly in the Quandri platform by following these instructions.
             

            Epic User Code and Employee Account

            1. From the Locate account dropdown, select Employee
            2. Click the + button add an employee account
            3. Complete the Employee Name (First and Last) fields
              1. Account name and Lookup code will automatically generate upon finishing  
              2. Complete Email 1
              3. Select the correct Structure
            4. Click Finish

            Epic Activity Code

            Talk to your Implementation Manager to determine if you need to set up a new Epic activity code for Quandri Requoting. 
             

            Email Account Setup

            1. Email Inbox
              1. Set up a new email account for Policy Requoting (if not done previously)
                • Policy Requoting will require a new email address for login. You may set one up with your brokerage’s email domain. i.e: quandrirequoting@youragency.com.  
              2. Use this email address to create logins for each carrier portal. 
                • Note - this email address will require an inbox for MFA login emails that can be sent from carriers when trying to login. 
                   
            2. Complete Email configuration 
              Quandri will require the login credentials to the email account
              • Email address
              • Password
              • MFA secret key (if applicable)


            Access to Carrier Portals

            1. For each carrier portal - create a user login
              • Use the newly created email account for the Quandri requoter to create a carrier portal login. This will vary for each carrier, however licensed access is not required as we are not binding any quotes.
                 
            2. Complete carrier portal registration
              • This can be completed for any carrier portals that Quandri currently supports, including Safeco, Travelers, Progressive, Nationwide, and Auto-Owners. 
              • Please complete the carrier portal registration, including setting the password, MFA with email, and setting security questions and answers. 
              • Required output for Quandri includes:
                • Username
                • Password
                • Secret key for MFA (if applicable)
                • Agency code
                • Lines of business you wish to quote with this carrier


            Quandri Platform Configuration

            1. The Quandri platform can be accessed at: https://app.goquandri.io/. Please bookmark this link for future access. 
            2. Email invites: Each member of the project team will receive an invite to set up your user account via email. You can invite new admins/users under the ‘Teams & Permissions’ page in Quandri.
            3. Enter the email login credentials and carrier login credentials under Requoting → Configuration → Login Setup.


            Next Steps

            1. Reviewing Configuration
              1. Your Implementation Manager will review your configuration and Epic integration and ensure that everything is set up properly. 
              2. You'll work with your Implementation Manager to finalize the remaining configuration, including:
                1. Activities & Workflow
                2. Policy Triggers (i.e. of selected attributed, what will trigger a requote)
                3. Coverages (i.e. coverages included on every requote)
                4. Schedule
                   
            2. Validation
              1. Once we have confirmed that the configuration is correct, we can begin testing. 
              2. To begin the testing process, please manually assign 5-10 EREN activities to Quandri’s Epic Who/Owner code.
                • Note: These must be activities previously processed by the Policy Checking capability.
              3. As we go through testing, we will make adjustments to the configuration as needed, to ensure that the output results match your needs.
              4. When we are satisfied with the results, we can turn on automated activity assignment. 
                 
            3. Activation Complete
              1. Users can review quotes on the ‘Policies’ page in Quandri by filtering for Status = Review Quote.
              2. When we have seen at least 10+ successful results through testing, we can begin automatically assigning activities to Quandri Requoting.
