Editing or Adding Coverages
Coverage additions and edits allows admins to configure how coverage codes in Epic map to Quandri – essentially allow you to define which coverages we support are mapped to in Epic. Additionally, you can adjust which coverages are within packages or imply other coverages. Admins can control coverage configurations and make instant changes, reducing coverage reporting errors.
Each coverage configuration has three key components:
- Code: The coverage code as it appears in Epic
- Name (Package/Endorsement/Coverage): What the name of the coverage represents from Quandri (this will differ from the description within Epic)
-
Included Coverages: Other coverages that are automatically included within the package or bundle.
Common Use Case Example
Problem: Quandri reports "Sewer Backup Missing" on a report even though the policy has Water Protection coverage that includes sewer backup.
Solution: Configure the Water Protection to specify it includes:
- Overland water
- Sewer backup
- Service line coverage
Now going forward Quandri will correctly recognize all included coverages on the next run.

The coverages screen allows users to complete configurations such as Coverage, code and the included coverages updates.
