July 20206 Product Update
July was a strong month for requoting. Quotes are coming back more accurate and in higher volume, so brokers spend less time chasing carriers and more time closing. Here's what's new.
REQUOTING
More quotes, fewer gaps with configurable renewal effective date
Some carriers wouldn't return a quote at all when the renewal date fell outside their 30-day binding window, so the policy failed with no result and no explanation. Now you can configure Quandri to quote at the renewal effective date plus 30 days, so those policies return results instead of silently failing through.
That means fewer missing quotes and less time spent manually tracking down policies that should have been quoted the first time. This can be set up under Quote Preferences.
Requotes reprocess once exceptions are fixed
When a policy hits an exception — such as a required field missing in Epic — Quandri now writes a note to the Epic activity explaining what to fix. Once the fix is made, reassigning the activity queues it for automatic reprocessing on the next run.
That means fewer requotes stall out waiting on manual follow-up.
Smarter licence class handling for quote accuracy
Missing or unusual licence class values, such as Class 99 or Class B, used to return inaccurate quotes or none at all. Quandri now applies logic based on provincial requirements, driver age, and available data to select the most likely correct class and date.
Any adjustment is noted in the Epic activity, so your team has full transparency into what changed and why.

One click to copy. Done.
Every policy number and lookup code in Quandri now has a copy button next to it. Click it, and the value lands on your clipboard with a quick "Copied" confirmation, so you don't need to rekey long policy numbers by hand.
