How Quandri Works
If your team is spending 45 minutes or more on a single renewal, toggling between your AMS, carrier portals, raters, and email, you already know the problem. Clients go years without being touched, your best account managers are buried in data entry, and there is no time left for servicing clients and building customer relationships that drive retention.
Quandri is built to change that. It automates the time-consuming work of the entire renewal processing; renewal reviews, requoting, and writing personalized renewal emails, so your team can focus on advising clients instead of administering policies.
How Quandri connects to your AMS
Quandri integrates directly with your agency management system — including Applied Epic, AMS360, and Hawksoft. Once connected, Quandri automatically analyzes your renewing policies, without any manual intervention needed.
Sent communications are saved back into the client record, keeping your system of record accurate without extra steps from your team. All email responses come back directly into the Account Manager's Outlook inbox.

Deep renewal intelligence
Most tools surface what is in your data. Quandri surfaces what your data means.
Quandri has ingested over 10,000 carrier documents — policy wordings, underwriting guidelines, rate filings, and coverage mandates — and applies that knowledge automatically when analyzing your book. This means Quandri understands the real-world rules that affect your clients' policies, not just what is in the data fields.
For example:
- Properties in Florida within one mile of a known sinkhole are automatically scored and flagged at underwriting.
- In Illinois, mine subsidence coverage is legally mandated in 34 specific counties — Quandri knows whether your client has it, regardless of whether it was requested.
- Off-premises theft is excluded from standard policies across 10 specific counties in New York — Quandri surfaces this as a coverage gap where relevant.
- Properties west of Charles Street in Boston's Back Bay carry a specific earthquake exclusion — Quandri identifies and flags this automatically.
This is the kind of detail that takes an experienced account manager years to learn, and that a busy account manager simply does not have time to check on every renewal. Quandri checks it automatically, every time. Quandri's carrier knowledge is continuously updated as new documents are ingested; your team does not need to manage this.
How Quandri works at renewal
When a policy enters the renewal window, here is what Quandri does:
- Pulls renewal data from your AMS. Quandri retrieves current and renewing policy details automatically upon renewal across all personal lines policies.
- Analyzes the renewal. Quandri reviews the renewing policy and intelligently analyzes to identify coverage gaps, bundling opportunities and premium changes.
- Scores and prioritizes the policy. Policies are ranked based on urgency, premium change, and your agency standards so your team always works the right files first.
- Requotes when needed. If the policy meets your configured requoting criteria, such as a premium increase threshold, Quandri automatically remarket the policy to see if there are competitive options available.
- Generates a personalized, context-rich renewal email. Quandri writes a tailored renewal email for each client. Each email can be custom-configured to incorporate policy details, coverage changes, and recommendations. Emails are automatically written and ready for your team to review and send.
-
Saves back to your AMS. Once the email is sent, the record is automatically written back into your AMS, keeping your system of record up to date without any extra steps.

Understanding the policies page
The Policies page shows all renewing policies within your brokerage. While this might seem overwhelming at first, Quandri's powerful filtering system helps you focus on what matters most to you.
Filter your policies
Use the filters at the top of the page to narrow down your view:
- Date range: Select from preset ranges or create a custom range using the date arrows.
- Premium amount: Filter by the total premium value.
- Change in premium: Focus on policies with significant changes, either by percentage increase or dollar amount (for example, filter for anything over a 10% premium increase).
- Assignee: Filter to see only policies assigned to you.
- Review status: Choose to view only policies with a specific status. For example, you can view those requiring email review, and hide those already sent.

Pro tip
Save your filter combinations as custom views. Simply title your view and hit Save. Next time, you can instantly access your preferred filters instead of setting them up again.
Prioritizing your work
Quandri automatically prioritizes your policies to help you work efficiently. High-priority policies indicate that additional activities were triggered within your BMS, signalling they need your attention first.
Reviewing and sending renewal emails
When you select Review Email on a policy, you'll see a split-screen view designed to save you time:

Left side: Policy renewal analysis
This comprehensive analysis includes:
- Key attributes: Important policy details at a glance
- Missing coverages: Automatically identified gaps in coverage
- Talking points: Critical items to include in your communication or mention during in-person conversations
Quick Search functionality: If a customer walks in or calls, use the search function to instantly find specific coverage information. For example, searching for "Claims Protector" will immediately show whether the client has this coverage or not.
Right side: Personalized renewal email
Quandri generates a personalized renewal email for your client — already written and ready to send. This saves you significant time while ensuring every client receives thoughtful, customized communication.
Best practice
Review the email to ensure it meets your standards and add any additional personalization that reflects your relationship with the client.
Your email options
- Save and close: If you need more time, save your work without losing your progress.
- Regenerate: Create a fresh version of the email.
- Skip email: If you’ve already connected with the customer in person, you can use this option. Sending a follow-up email is still a good idea, since it keeps everything documented for you and your team.
- Send: When you're satisfied, simply hit Send.
Once an email is sent, the policy automatically moves out of your review queue, and you will see confirmation that it was sent. Additionally, the sent email will be saved back into Applied Epic.
