How to Schedule Your Epic Daily Download

            Copied!

If your download is currently already scheduled and running you will need to cancel and then purge that current schedule.

            • From your home screen, Click Procedures > Job Management > Jobs > Change the Job drop-down to “Jobs - Scheduled”
            • Locate the current job (you can try using the search filter for Job Name Contains CSIO)
            • Single click on the job to highlight it, then click Actions > Cancel Job
            • Single click on the job to highlight it, then click Actions > Purge Job
            • Important not to mix up the order of Cancel Job and Purge Job as if you purge if first then it will still continue to run as it was not cancelled but it will no longer be in the list to be able to cancel it - Always Cancel job then Purge job

Please review this Epic Help File for more information.

            CSIO

When you initiate a download (CSIO) session by performing the CSIOnet action, the system retrieves download files from your mailbox(es). Each CSIO session generates a communication log, which contains information about the status of the downloaded items.

From the Home screen, do one of the following:

            • Click Procedures on the navigation panel.
            • Click Areas > Procedures on the menubar.
            • Click the down arrow next to Home on the options bar and select Procedures.

Click Interface Management > Assign Items in Suspense on the navigation panel.

            Do one of the following:

            • Click Actions > CSIOnet on the options bar.
            • Click Actions > CSIOnet on the menubar.

The Communication Log Recipients - CSIO screen displays. On this screen, you can specify who receives a copy of the Communication Log and how it is delivered to each recipient. However, you cannot edit these options if the Communication Log Layout is set to Custom – Layouts selected to Print in Reports/Marketing in Interface System Settings.

From here, you can do the following:

            • Add a Recipient
            • Edit a Recipient's Options
            • Delete a Recipient

If you want to change the printer settings for a selected recipient, click to highlight the recipient and click Change Printer Settings to display the Print window.

Edit the Scheduling options for the update.

            1. Click the Schedule radio button.
            2. Enter the date and time for when you want it to run next
            3. Set the Recurrence frequency for the job.

            Click Finish to schedule.
